Parents’ Page In the universe of MyTinyPlanets we are striving to make our users’ experience as fun and safe as we can. Please help us to help you by obeying the Space Laws and keeping your personal information safe.
To help keep kids safe on-line, MyTinyPlanets uses trained Moderators to monitor the site on a regular basis. eModeration moderators are not only experienced working with childrens live chat but have passed extensive background checks. We also use filtering software which we regularly update to help prevent the use of bad language. No system can be perfect though, and we expect as part of the Terms and Conditions of using this site that both children and parents will play their part. Our Moderators may report incidents of a suspicious nature to authorities; they may also pass whatever relevant information we hold on users to these authorities, including records of chat and postings. The moderators ruling on bad or offensive language or improper behaviour is final. In the event of an offensive name, behaviour or message not being seen by a moderator, users can use the ‘report user’ function on the V-card to alert a moderator. Each subscriber has a v-card which contains the User Name and Planet Name of each individual subscriber. Our Moderators work closely with the following organisations; you may wish to find out more about them by clicking the links below: VGT "The Virtual Global Taskforce is made up of law enforcement agencies from around the world working together to fight child abuse online. The aim of the VGT is to build an effective, international partnership of law enforcement agencies that helps to protect children from online child abuse."
