What to do if you are having technical problems: My Tiny Planets uses both Adobe Flash (TM) and Adobe Shockwave (TM) players. You can get these by clicking on the logos below.

You will need both of these plug-ins in order for My Tiny Planets to run correctly. Flash is for the main interface, Shockwave plays the real-time 3d graphics on the site, including flying your Spaceship between Planets.

If you cannot see your Jumpsuit in the landscape it is most likely that you do not have the LATEST versions of Flash and Shockwave! Click the links above to download them.

The next most common technical problem is that you cannot teleport to orbit from a planet - this is usually because your browser security settings prevent Flash and Shockwave from 'talking' to each other. This is easily remedied - please see below:

Windows Vista(TM)

There are a number of settings which can affect the game; "Internet Protected Mode" may prevent you from installing Shockwave propery.

This is usually the main issue you will find; however, depending on how your system has been configured you may need to check the following:

Tools/InternetOtions/Security/Custom Level/Active Scripting and Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level/Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins

Again, with Active X controls (those yellow bars you sometimes see at the top of the browser) Scripting needs to be enabled.

Tools/Internet options/Security/Custom level/Script ActiveX controls

What to do if you are having problems running My Tiny Planets on an Intel(TM) based Macintosh(TM) computer:

At the time of writing Adobe is updating the Shockwave player to support Intel based Macintosh computers directly; currently you need to run your browser in Rosetta emulation mode to install Shockwave. You can find the Adobe Knowledge Base note on how to do this here. Adobe have publicly stated that they will be supporting Intel based Macintosh computers in the very near future, and we eagerly await their upgrade.

What to do if your Jumpsuit seems slow when flying:

You can turn off scrolling in the landscapes by clicking 'Scrolling / scrolling OFF'. This means that your Jumpsuit will fly around the landscape, but jump from one screen to the next - click close to the edge of the screen to do this.

What to do if the site sometimes seems slow in downloading:

In making the My Tiny Planets web site, we have tried to create a user experience which is as graphically rich as possible. This means that some of the graphics are quite large, and will take a little longer to down load. Please be patient - it's worth the wait. It is also worthwhile checking the speed of your internet connection. Broadband connections can vary in speed, both from location to location and at different times of day depending on the number of users sharing your line (the 'local loop').

What to do if you you have upgraded to Citizenship and are having problems with your account.
